Chemical Regulatory Specialist

Position Summary/Accountabilities –

Researching and performing registrations of animal drugs especially in regards to biocidal law and REACH regulation in various countries.

  • Acting as liaison between government agencies and PureLabs
  • Researching and advising of transportation requirements for Dangerous Goods and Animal Drugs
  • Researching any other regulatory requirements required by our marketing position

Job Functions –

  • Internet, library, and vendor research for purposes of regulatory issues
  • Timely production and filing of required government documents
  • Other functions as required

Physical & Environmental Requirements –

Physical requirements include sitting or standing for long periods of time, speaking in front of large groups of people, finger dexterity, hearing and seeing. Environmental requirements include working indoors and in various field-test settings.

Technical/Job Skill Qualifications –

  • Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated background in performing animal drug registrations
  • Demonstrated good analytical and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated good verbal, presentation, and written communication skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to speak and write effectively in English and French.  German also recommended.  Other languages a plus.
  • Some Chemical background preferred

Dairy Xpress Product Manager

Summary:

The DXPM’s primary responsibility is to manage the Dairy Xpress Product line.  The DXPM will be responsible for managing the existing DX product range to insure the line stays current and that profitability goals established by the company for the DX product range are met.  The DXPM is also responsible for development of marketing tools necessary to maximize sales of the DX products and to work closely with the rest of the BouMatic Aftermarket Marketing Team to maximize sales .

General DXPM Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Track product line sales and profitability and develop measurement tools to ensure that the product line is on track to reach annual sales and profit goals.
  2. Learn JDE skills necessary to manage the DX line including the ECR process necessary to set up new products in the line and obsolete products as necessary.
  3. Perform DX  product management activities; i.e., product pricing, catalog development, sales tools development, competitive analysis, web site development etc.
  4. Provide supplemental technical support on the Hygiene and DX product lines in the field and by phone.
  5. Assist in Aftermarket product and program training classes as needed.
  6. Keep abreast of new developments, materials or processes inside and outside the dairy industry that may present opportunities for new products or value engineering of current products.
  7. Develop a competitive product information data base including competitive pricing to establish market based pricing for the DX product range. 
  8. Develop product technical support information.

Skills and Background Requirements:

BS or BA degree in Ag Business related field
Technical Aptitude
Dairy Farm or Dairy Equipment Dealership Background preferred
Good computer skills including knowledge of MicroSoft Office tools
Willingness to travel as needed

Dairy Solution Sales Consultant-West

Responsibilities

1) Market Analysis- To fill the sales pipeline with viable systems prospects.

  • Identify and build a relationship with the top 100 Dairy Producers in the assigned market

           Top= Longevity, Efficient and likely to Expand

  • Identify and build a relationship with the Dairy Contractors in the assigned market
  • Identify and build a relationship with Market influencers
  • Identify and build relationship with Dealers in assigned market
  • Work all appropriate trade shows in the assigned market
  • “Mine” prospects through the BouMatic DSM network

2) Sales Process-

  • Follow BouMatic sales process as defined
  • Sell the BouMatic Principle and BouMatic story
  • Use the BouMatic “System Sales Dossier” on each prospect
  • Communicate regularly with Systems coordinator regarding timelines, support material and competitive issues.
  • Communicate regularly with third party suppliers (Financial, Project Planning etc.)
  • Relay information to BouMatic DSM throughout sales process
  • Take DSM on sales calls during critical points of the process
    1. Beginning
    2. Touring
    3. Key planning mtg’s
    4. Closing (Gain aftermarket sales confirmation)
  • Attend the Dairy Solutions bi-monthly conference calls
  • Use Sales Force.com as per company policy

3) Order Fulfillment and Installation

  • Send Dealer and Producer a thank you letter for confirmed orders
  • Communicate all Dealer and Customer expectations to Systems coordinator and Tech support
  • Communicate any necessary changes to order in a timely way.
  • Assist Systems Coordinator as needed to communicate to customer
  • Visit all large installations at least two times during installation
  • Develop and Implement system training for operators.
  • Attend start-up of all systems in the market that were assisted by the Dairy Solutions team
4) Continuing Education
  • Attend 2 relevant continuing education events per year
  • Assist with formal training for co-workers as needed. 

Expectations

  • Reach or Exceed sales plan for system sales
  • Manage travel and time to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Support the BouMAX side of the BouMatic Business.
  • Learn all aspects of Dairy Facility layout and design

Welders, Grinders, Electro-Mechanical Assembly

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welders:  must be an all position heli-arc welder on stainless steel.  Requires a one year Associate Degree or equivalent experience.  Must be able to pass company welding test and be able to read blue prints.  Position is 2nd shift from 2:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.   We offer outstanding total rewards packages.  Please apply in person.

Intern, IT Operations and Infrastructure

Responsibilities:  The IT Operations and Infrastructure Intern is responsible for supporting the management, administration, support and maintenance of the network and computing infrastructure.  This position is also responsible for assisting in the implementation of new network and computing infrastructure projects.  Lastly, this position is responsible for the supporting the Level 1 and 2 Helpdesk.
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Level 1 Helpdesk:

  • Take initial telephone, e-mail or SysAid inquiry related to hardware, software, network or application (JD Edwards, Cognos, etc.) problems and resolve in five minutes or less;
  • Create, modify and delete user accounts for all supported systems;
  • Escalate more complex systems and applications issues in 5 to 15 minutes

Desktop and Phone Support:

  • Maintain an inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and support policies and procedures for upgrades;
  • Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and set up on schedule;
  • Create user accounts and manage access control based on company policies;
  • Install and configure application and operating system software and upgrades;
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and network connectivity issues; and
Systems Administration Support:
  • Install operating system software, patches and upgrades;
  • Assist in the analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of system hardware, software and networking issues;
  • Monitor system backups and recovery

Network Administration Support:

  • Support in the implementation of network software and hardware upgrades;
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network performance, connectivity and related problems

Position Title:  Electrical Engineer

Position is responsible for the Electrical Engineering requirements for BouMatic.

The candidates must meet the following qualifications, and have demonstrated the following technical or job skills:

  • Qualified applicants should have analog and embedded control experience in the design of electronic circuits at the board level and a basic knowledge of software programming techniques. 
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent education and experience required.
  •  Preferred candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft office, schematic capture, simulation software, electrical standards and their application and be knowledgeable in the use of electronic design tools such as an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and spectrum analyzer.
  • Applicant will be responsible for new controls and maintenance of existing controls.
  • Working knowledge of UL, CSA and CE are desired.
  • Occasional international and domestic travel is required

Position: District Sales Manager: Asia-Oceania

Reports To: Regional Director

Key responsibilities:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for aggressively growing and supporting the sales, marketing and profit objectives of the Company, within their designated territory.

To accomplish this, a district manager must:

  • Develop a comprehensive, annual territory sales / marketing plan, in alignment with the sales / marketing strategies and profit objectives of the Company, maximizing the Company’s product and service offering within their territory;
  • Develop individual marketing plans with appropriate distribution in territory;
  • Performs distribution evaluations & reviews with distribution organization;
  • Upgrade distribution to meet the sales / marketing and business objectives;
  • Facilitate and support Company / distribution training activities;
  • Fill open/replacement areas with new distribution or distribution model as needed;
  • Develop a professional relationship with key local industry influentials;
  • Conduct all business and personal affairs in a professional and ethical way.
  • Manage sales managers based on specific countries.

 
Qualifications:  experience in the equipment industry preferably with agriculture or Dairy.  Experience working with distribution or dealer network is helpful. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of 5-7 years required.

Position: IT Operations and Infrastructure Analyst

Responsibilities:  The IT Operations and Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for supporting the management, administration, support and maintenance of the network and computing infrastructure.  This critical position is also responsible for assisting in assisting in the implementation of new network and computing infrastructure projects.  Lastly, this position is responsible for the supporting the Level 1 and 2 Helpdesk.

  • Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and set up on schedule;
  • Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization;
  • Create user accounts and manage access control based on company policies;
  • Install, configure and maintain desktop and laptop PCs and peripherals such as printers;
  • Install and configure application and operating system software and upgrades;
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and network connectivity issues; and
  • PC/Desktop Life-Cycle Management - Remove old equipment and perform data migration to new machines.

Systems Administration Support:

  • Install operation system software, patches and upgrades;
  • Assist in the analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of system hardware, software and networking issues;
  • Assist in the configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning and monitoring operating system software and servers;
  • Perform and monitor system backups and recovery; and
  • Assist in conducting server builds.

Network Administration Support:

  • Administer the operation of all network services according to company policies and procedures;
  • Support in the implementation of network software and hardware upgrades;
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network performance, connectivity and related problems; and
  • Administer network security (new account creations, deletions, etc.), antivirus and spam control measures.

Position: Plant Manager

Position Objective:       

Involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, lean methods and processes, and other production techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods to exceed the yearly budget and customer satisfaction… 
  
Position Functions:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of production of products.
  • Decision making regarding any operational issues, cost effectiveness, outsourcing.
  • Work with other facility management to resolve problems and create solutions.
  • Oversee, direct and assist facility management with carrying out policies, safety and problem solving in all aspects of manufacturing.
  • In charge of Lean implementations plant wide.
  • Conduct daily production meetings.
  • Help develop the equipment and systems required to plan the capital budget.
  • Analyze, interpret, and report on production statistics plant-wide.
  • Responsible for maintenance personnel and PM program.
  • Work in an open and positive manner with union team members.

Position Expectations:

  • Responsible for the production performance of plant facility.
  • Possess an overall knowledge of the business regarding performance and   predictions.
  • Understand customer issues and sales trends.
  • Attain an understanding of financial data pertaining to plant operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and be a leader, and a team builder.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Management with engineering background preferred.
  • Experience of at least three years in Lean Concepts and Principles; certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing environment as a plant or general manager.
  • Intermediate-level abilities in Microsoft Excel and Word and knowledge of integrated manufacturing system (MRP).  JD Edwards preferred.
