BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST
Madison, WI

Responsibilities: Responsible for effectively supporting and extending all aspects of the Cognos data warehouse at Madison One Holdings.
 
Job Profile:
The Business Intelligence Analyst at Madison One is responsible for insuring a quality and reliable data warehouse production environment.  This position is also responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting data warehouse solutions for Madison One’s business problems. Candidate must have solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, strong technical skills, have the ability to understand and resolve business details issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Works with key business partners to understand business needs and implement technical solutions;
  2. Plans, develops and implements strategic and tactical business intelligence initiatives;
  3. Supports and assists in the development of best business practices;
  4. Responsible for integrating quality data into the warehouse;
  5. Responsible for data modeling, developing data catalog, meta data and data dictionary;
  6. Responsible for data extracts, transformation, loading, and data cleansing for the data warehouse;
  7. Responsible for accurate data presentation to the end users;
  8. Develops auditing processes to insure data accuracy and consistency;
  9. Responsible for delivering value to the customer.

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, technologies, and best business practices;
  2. High knowledge of ETL tools;
  3. Proficient with the following Cognos applications:  Cognos Analytical Applications for JD Edwards, Cognos Decision Stream, Cognos ReportNet, Cognos PowerPlay Transformer, Cognos Access Manager, Cognos 8 experience is preferred but not required;
  4. Excellent knowledge of relational database management systems and data warehousing which includes logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, data cleansing, and end-user tools;
  5. Working knowledge of SQL Server;
  6. Implementing data warehouse solutions with JD Edwards 8.0 is highly desired;
  7. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
  8. Ability to quickly analyze problems and determine solutions;
  9. Strong oral and written communication skills;
  10. Must be able to communicate with managers, functional users and executives;
  11. Must be self-motivated and have a strong drive to continuously learn and excel;
  12. Strong knowledge of the end-to-end software development process;
  13. Ability to accurately estimate work efforts, develop project plans and deliver on goals

Education and/or Experience:

  1. BS in Computer Science; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Minimum 8 Years of experience in implementing or supporting business intelligence applications

 

 

Role- Dairy Solution Sales Consultant-West

Responsibilities

1) Market Analysis- To fill the sales pipeline with viable systems prospects.

  • Identify and build a relationship with the top 100 Dairy Producers in the assigned market

           Top= Longevity, Efficient and likely to Expand

  • Identify and build a relationship with the Dairy Contractors in the assigned market
  • Identify and build a relationship with Market influencers
  • Identify and build relationship with Dealers in assigned market
  • Work all appropriate trade shows in the assigned market
  • “Mine” prospects through the BouMatic DSM network

2) Sales Process-

  • Follow BouMatic sales process as defined
  • Sell the BouMatic Principle and BouMatic story
  • Use the BouMatic “System Sales Dossier” on each prospect
  • Communicate regularly with Systems coordinator regarding timelines, support material and competitive issues.
  • Communicate regularly with third party suppliers (Financial, Project Planning etc.)
  • Relay information to BouMatic DSM throughout sales process
  • Take DSM on sales calls during critical points of the process
    1. Beginning
    2. Touring
    3. Key planning mtg’s
    4. Closing (Gain aftermarket sales confirmation)
  • Attend the Dairy Solutions bi-monthly conference calls
  • Use Sales Force.com as per company policy

3) Order Fulfillment and Installation

  • Send Dealer and Producer a thank you letter for confirmed orders
  • Communicate all Dealer and Customer expectations to Systems coordinator and Tech support
  • Communicate any necessary changes to order in a timely way.
  • Assist Systems Coordinator as needed to communicate to customer
  • Visit all large installations at least two times during installation
  • Develop and Implement system training for operators.
  • Attend start-up of all systems in the market that were assisted by the Dairy Solutions team
4) Continuing Education
  • Attend 2 relevant continuing education events per year
  • Assist with formal training for co-workers as needed. 

Expectations

  • Reach or Exceed sales plan for system sales
  • Manage travel and time to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Support the BouMAX side of the BouMatic Business.
  • Learn all aspects of Dairy Facility layout and design

 

 

Welders, Grinders, Electro-Mechanical Assembly

Position Summary/Accountabilities –
Key responsibilities include:

  • Welders:  must be an all position heli-arc welder on stainless steel.  Requires a one year Associate Degree or equivalent experience.  Must be able to pass company welding test and be able to read blue prints.  Position is 2nd shift from 2:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.   We offer outstanding total rewards packages.  Please apply in person.
  • Grinders:  must be an experienced polisher and blender on stainless steel.  Previous experience with air grinding tools and knowledge of grinding belts and polishing compounds is helpful.  Position is 2nd shift from 2:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.   We offer outstanding total rewards packages.  Please apply in person.

Manufacturing/Time Study Engineering Intern

Position Summary/Accountabilities –
Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting time and motion data from various assembly processes
  • Capture work content in sequential order
  • Create product line workbooks
  • Identify Value-Added and Non-Value- Added activities
  • Remove waste
  • Line balancing
  • Balance by material
  • Balance by inventory

Job Functions –
Lead new time study projects in a structured process of directly observing and measuring (using a timing device) human work in order to establish the time required for completion of the work by a qualified worker when working at a defined level of performance. Plus establish workbook structure.

 

Physical & Environmental Requirements –

Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, communicating with people of various professional backgrounds, hearing and seeing. Environmental requirements include working indoors on the production floor 70% - Office work 30%.

Technical/Job Skill Qualifications –
The candidates must meet the following qualifications, and have demonstrated the following technical or job skills:

  • Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with Engineering major. Advance degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment (Automotive a plus)
  • A minimum of 2 years of highly technical and progressively responsible professional engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills.

Intern, IT Operations and Infrastructure

Responsibilities:  The IT Operations and Infrastructure Intern is responsible for supporting the management, administration, support and maintenance of the network and computing infrastructure.  This position is also responsible for assisting in the implementation of new network and computing infrastructure projects.  Lastly, this position is responsible for the supporting the Level 1 and 2 Helpdesk.
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Level 1 Helpdesk:

  • Take initial telephone, e-mail or SysAid inquiry related to hardware, software, network or application (JD Edwards, Cognos, etc.) problems and resolve in five minutes or less;
  • Create, modify and delete user accounts for all supported systems;
  • Escalate more complex systems and applications issues in 5 to 15 minutes

Desktop and Phone Support:

  • Maintain an inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and support policies and procedures for upgrades;
  • Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and set up on schedule;
  • Create user accounts and manage access control based on company policies;
  • Install and configure application and operating system software and upgrades;
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and network connectivity issues; and
Systems Administration Support:
  • Install operating system software, patches and upgrades;
  • Assist in the analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of system hardware, software and networking issues;
  • Monitor system backups and recovery

Network Administration Support:

  • Support in the implementation of network software and hardware upgrades;
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network performance, connectivity and related problems

 

 

Position Title – Chemical Operations Supervisor  

Position Summary/Accountabilities –
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing chemical batch production workflow via computer interface with batch production
  • Work closely with corporate purchasing department to manage chemical raw material inventory
  • Provide backup analytical support to quality assurance
  • Process improvements to maximize operational efficiency

Job Functions –

  • Receive orders and convert those into batch production orders
  • Enter production orders in a proprietary software package
  • Contact vendors to arrange chemical deliveries
  • Manage inventory locations of chemical raw materials and packaging
  • Analyze batch production samples as required and input results into computer
  • Manage and lead the chemical operator team

Position Title – Parlor Technology Engineering Intern

Job Description:
This position will assist with development and implementation of new projects related to but not limited to the Parlor Technology engineering group.


Responsibilities:
- Create R&D Prototypes
- Assist in the Development of Formal Assembly Procedures, Tooling, Process Design, and Pursue Continuous Improvement
- Assist in Production Pilot Runs
- New product development

The intern will be expected to perform given tasks nearly autonomously with direction from other engineering team members.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of education in a Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering program. 

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and 3D CAD system (Solidworks preferred). 

Experience with welding (MIG and TIG), machining, sheet metal fabrication and assembly techniques preferred.

Knowledge of dairy parlor operation is a plus.

Self-motivation, creativity and the desire to learn. Must have problem solving skills, possess analytical abilities and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Title:  Electrical Engineer

Job Functions:
Position is responsible for the Electrical Engineering requirements for BouMatic.

Technical/Job Skill Qualifications:
The candidates must meet the following qualifications, and have demonstrated the following technical or job skills:

  • Qualified applicants should have analog and embedded control experience in the design of electronic circuits at the board level and a basic knowledge of software programming techniques. 
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent education and experience required.
  •  Preferred candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft office, schematic capture, simulation software, electrical standards and their application and be knowledgeable in the use of electronic design tools such as an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and spectrum analyzer.
  • Applicant will be responsible for new controls and maintenance of existing controls.
  • Working knowledge of UL, CSA and CE are desired.
  • Occasional international and domestic travel is required

Position: District Sales Manager: Asia-Oceania

Reports To: Regional Director

Key responsibilities:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for aggressively growing and supporting the sales, marketing and profit objectives of the Company, within their designated territory.

To accomplish this, a district manager must:

  • Develop a comprehensive, annual territory sales / marketing plan, in alignment with the sales / marketing strategies and profit objectives of the Company, maximizing the Company’s product and service offering within their territory;
  • Develop individual marketing plans with appropriate distribution in territory;
  • Performs distribution evaluations & reviews with distribution organization;
  • Upgrade distribution to meet the sales / marketing and business objectives;
  • Facilitate and support Company / distribution training activities;

Qualifications:  experience in the equipment industry preferably with agriculture or Dairy.  Experience working with distribution or dealer network is helpful.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of 5-7 years required.
