BouMatic Introduces New Milking Stall Systems
for Large and Mid-Sized Dairy Operations

MADISON, Wis. – BouMatic, a global dairy equipment manufacturer, announces the introduction of two, robust new designs in milking stalls; the Xcalibur™ 90LX parallel stall, designed and built for around-the-clock milking operations, and the Xpedia™ 90TX parallel stall designed for mid-sized dairy operations.

“The Xcalibur™ 90LX is a rugged stall design with superior cow comfort and efficiency features for 24/7 use,” stated Josh Vrieze, BouMatic Product Manager.  “The virtually indestructible Xcalibur™ 90LX also loads quickly because there are no sequence gate posts, and once in place, patented shoulder bumpers provide more comfort to cows over conventional stall designs.  Also, the lift-exit system of the Xcalibur™ 90LX allows for a quick exit by the cows in a much smaller area.  This means the 90LX can be installed in a narrower parlor building,” Vrieze added.

“Quality construction, a bolt-together design and no on-site welding of galvanized material are hallmarks of the Xcalibur™ 90LX stall’s design,” said Vrieze.  “The Xcalibur™ 90LX can also be installed in new parlors or as a retrofit and the cow spacing can be set up to suit the dairy operator’s needs.  Cleanup is faster and easier too because only the main support posts are in the floor and they are spaced every 4 to 6 cows,” he added.

“For mid-sized dairies, the Xpedia™ 90RX is a durable stall design that gently ushers cows from the stalls and allows re-loading to begin much faster,” said Vrieze.  “But most importantly, the distinctive angled brisket loop addresses cows at the brisket, which allows for maximum cow comfort.  Also, the Xpedia 90RX™ can be retrofitted to many existing low ceiling buildings, thus reducing construction costs,” he added.
